When Reed and I found out that we were going to have a baby, the first thing that we wanted to do was call our parents and tell them right away!! However, we decided it would be best to let them know in person so we could see their reactions. After brainstorming ways to tell them (scavenger hunts, showing ultrasound pictures, giving them a jar of Prego sauce - Reed's idea) we went with my sister's idea of putting Floyd in a t-shirt - which I like to do anyways! Even though we had to wait weeks to see either parent, I am so glad that we waited to tell them and saw their reactions! They were priceless. My mom was literally jumping up and down, and Reed's mom thought we were getting another dog, and let us know that she thought it was a bad idea!![]()
